My education begins with the traditional Swiss schools, a Matura and three years of legal studies at the University of Berne. But life takes me to some unexpected places:
extended sojourns in the French speaking part of Switzerland;
a year at Grapevine Canyon Ranch in Arizona where I found out what truly tough people are all about (they have taught me, among many other things, that whining is just a bad habit);
studies of Russian and French language and literature, English, Creative writing and Video production;
back in Zurich, courses at the university in Medieval French, Russian culture, Theater and theory and History of the Czech language;
training in terminology at the Terminology department of the Central Language Services of the Federal Chancellery of Switzerland;
three semesters of modern Greek in Fribourg;
ongoing Russian conversation classes with a very knowledgeable Russian lady... There's so much to learn.
I am a regular participant at seminars, conferences
and workshops, I love networking with colleagues and I escape to film and theater festivals whenever possible.
